A 45 min plot set within a 2+ hr film that nonetheless manages to feel like a 5 or 6 hour film. Minimal connections among mostly unconnected subplots, whose compelling connection were apparently the writer's aspiration. A real tearjerker subplot for an illegal maid who after making about 18 bad choices in a row almost kills the kids in her care...
