we saw this film last fall at the toronto film festival and felt that it was the best film that we viewed (35). sarah polley was a brillant first time director. the casting was right on; julie christie, gordon pinson, and michael murphy were outstanding and the supporting cast was excellent. we felt that it was better than anything up for the 2006 oscars.
