people groan about this movie just because its in 3D and just because its popular.i think the star wars prequels deserve more bashing than this and especialy for me the nolan batman non original idea trilogy wich spewed forth reboot after reboot.
at least this has some plausable 3D and before it we just had god awful bad 3D like amytiville 3D and jaws 3D. granted thier are some problems in some of the 3D scenes. the movie itself is enjoyable and mediocre, i like the extended version with worthingtons character beating up the abusive boyfriend and getting his behind kicked it makes him seem more human and likeable.
Its not camerons finest work, id give it a c+ at least its more original than a christopher nolan or micheal bay movie and not a reboot with an okay score. I'll take a bad james cameron film over a reboot anyday. Sigourney Weaver makes this movie worth watching as does the romance between worthingtons character and zoe saldanas. i think this is zoe's finest performance as her digital character really isnt anything like her in any movie ive seen her in and my favorite saldana movie, she really makes the romance work.
