I went to see this wonderful film New Years day and was very surprised. I think some of the negative reviews missed the deeper and more emotional story that was told. That may be because the film starts very slow, slow, slow!!! The first half hour I was hoping that I had not wasted my day and my money, it wasn't long after, I was pulled deeply into the story of a little boy, cowboys, and war. There is a love story in it as well as anger and hate. I think Hugh Jackman should be nominated for an Acadamy Award as well. A few of the facts are slipped in at the wrong time but really did happen. My rear end was starting to hurt from the uncomfortable seats that the theater provides. By the time the story was coming to an end I didn't want it to end and needed an intermission break. Over all an excellent film and those that say it wasn't any good should stick to cheap heavy metal entertainment and cartoons. KUDO'S
