This was an interesting and enjoyable movie of man vs man, black vs white, greed, romance, and war. My wife and I both enjoyed it alot. Nicole Kiddman, the kid and the Drover are all very good in this film. It's a really good educational film. I was suprised that this is a true story. Read the ending and see that this was still going on in 2008! The films setting is in the 1940s! …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

First of all, they tried to tell much too much story.
There are *4* Screenwriters credited for this film, and it's as if they each wrote a feature length presentation and the editor spliced the results together.
