Atonement(2007)- User Reviews

I didn't get a chance to see the movie until just a week ago. After hearing all the buzz about how good and moving this movie was, I was a little bit disappointed. I expected it to be this great love story that was completely heartbreaking and moving. I had heard that all the girls who went to see it came out crying. I expected myself to start crying during the movie because i cry for a lot of films. But this movie just made me mad. It made me furious what happened to this couple. I couldn't believe what Briony did to them. It isn't heartbreaking, it's just wrong.
Anyways. I probably should focus on reviewing the movie. Well, the acting by James McAvoy and Keirra Knightly was superb. The story wasn't quite to my taste. But it was still pretty good. It was beautifully shot. The director did a good job with that. So all in all I gave this movie a B. It was a good attempt, but it didn't quite hit the mark.
