It's amazing to me how little the paid reviewers have in common with the people that I go to movies with, as in everyone in the theatre. Good movie..good story, but very slow. It seemed to drag on and on we were expected to be entranced by the visuals and photograpy. They were great...but how bout given that story some kick. There was a lot of sighing going on in that theatre. The acting was fine...maybe a bit overacted in parts. Felt very British...very slow...very English Patient. For better or worse.
