A movie made from a popular book enjoys an inherent advantage, and I thought my familiarity with the story accounted for my pleassure at seeing this movie. However, my wife, who is foreign-born and unfamiliar with the book or the moral of the story, understood the archtype enemies in the movie and enjoyed this movie as much as I did. Viewers will recognize the same enemies, stoogies, useful-idiots that we find in present day America ,as well as the heroes. Story, drama, romance, engaging lead and character actors, some mystery and suspense, make this an "A" movie. Hope Part 2 comes out soon.
