How can this can be from the same director that made "Ghost World", a film I greatly enjoyed? It has a terrific cast too- but it is one of the worst films I have seen in a very long time. I expected a somewhat dark comedy about the absurdities of life in art school, but I watched an entirely confused film that couldn't figure out what it wanted to be, a brutal murder mystery with Hitchcock story overtones, or a satiric comedy, or a dopey love story. Worst of all, it sucked at all three. Three minutes of funny jokes don't make up for 90min of wasted time. Finding out how such a turd got to be made would be far more interesting than watching it. Truly dreadful.
