A thoughtful and funny movie about art and life

I loved this movie. I was suprised that when I went to it that I was the only sole in the entire gigantic theatre to experience this amazing little nifty movie. Like Ghost World its a movie that looks at the people who feel misunderstood and aliennated from their peers and art school is a place where hopefully they can maybe connect with people. The hero of the story is Jerome, played with brilliance by Max Migella. He has dreams to become the next big Picasso of the 21st century and soon he finds to succeed in art school you have to suffer threw all of its BS. What Jerome finds about art school is very very true to life, having been a film major I can totally relate to him. I think that art school at times can be a waste of time because artists aren't made but born.
Jerome goes from being a egar young artist, to a love struck, broken hearted and pissed off at the world because he fails to win the heart of a lovely nude model named Audrey.
The film is funny and at times quite moving about its take on art, life and love. Some may find the subplot of the campus slasher to be unneeded but I found it to fit in quite well esspecially at the end. There is a great last scene of the movie that tops it off with a sort of qurikness.
