Argo(2012)- User Reviews

I lived through the time of the hostage situation and all that followed yet knowing the outcome didn't prevent me from sitting on the edge of my seat throughout the movie. I found the acting convincing and the screen play realistic and fast moving. I'm wondering how many details were added to make the escape more exciting to modern audiences (armed cars chasing the plane down the runway, boarding just as the doors were closing, etc.) but no matter; I was as entertained and engaged as I've been at any movie this year. Just wish they'd cast someone other than John Goodman-- who is funny but pretty much a parody of himself-- as the helpful Hollywood insider.
