The movie was really good! I really enjoyed it! The movie was intense for the most part. That is what made it good. It kept you thinking what was going to happen to them. I was not alive when the actual thing went on so this was all new to me. I am sure …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Excellent depiction of Iran in the late 70's and the horror that was the Iranian hostage situation. Ben Affleck proves he's a master as a director and nails his lead.
The cinematography is amazing, and the tension of the embassy hostages jumps …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

A great movie. This is why I enlisted in the Air Force in 1980. I remember seeing the hostages blind folded on the news. And at that time, then President Carter did. And look at today, still problems with Iran. This is one of those movies that tells the …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

This movie is well done and worth seeing. Excellent acting by Affleck. Contrast to the current situation in BenGhazi is profound and makes you realize how brave Tyrone Woods was and Affleck's character was.
A very timely movie and very engaging. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Brought back memories of the era. Of, course, I had never heard any details of the escape, since they were classified. But I do recall how tight lipped the six who escaped were on the details. The movie Argo fills in those details. I believe this movie …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful
