Seems every actor that makes a film ends up being the hero in it. Even though based on a true story, it missed the boat!...looked like a typical George Clooney, Ben Affleck ego fest with some OK parts but stupid by the end of the film. “Argo” is the first legitimate Academy Award Best Picture candidate of the season. This movie is edge-of-your-seat intense. Kudos to Ben Affleck for directing a truly magnificent film. This movie has a very interesting story with sustained suspense and awesome actors. The best movie Ben Affleck has been in since Boiler Room. What is really amazing is the work with the extras. I initially didn't want to see this movie when I read the synopsis, I am just not into political movies these days, nothing feels real or honest anymore. But I have to say, after I watched this movie, I thought it was fantastic!
