You don't see very many westerns nowadays untill this came along. It is very good and interesting story and has a great backdrop and also great performances by Ed Harris, Jeremy Irons and the beautifull Renee Zellweger. First I always respected Ed Harris as an actor because he is a good guy and is good at what he does. Second, Jeremy Irons is a great actor too and is another one who is perfect at being a villian. And then Renee Zellweger is a great actress and it seems she always does her best to give you a good show. It is a great western and it also is funny at times too. It is good to see a great western again. I guess it's a novel and i might have to check that out too. If the movie is great I can only imagine what the book is like. I think Appaloosa is what all western fans have been waiting for.
