This is one of the few examples of a motion picture that outdoes the story it was adapted from by leaps and bounds. One of Coppola's best, and definitely one of the best films to have ever been produced. Martin Sheen has never done anything better. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

One of Coppola's crowning achievements, next to, of course, 'The Godfather' saga (1972-1990) and the taut thriller 'The Conversation" (1974). Sheen may never do anything better, the same goes for Duvall (who was rightfully nominated). …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Apocalypse Now is not the greatest war movie. It has its good parts and it has its bad ones. Most of them movie is slow. The movie is way to long. They should of cut the length down. The acting is good. Their is a couple of funny points but not many. …more»1 of 2 people found this review helpful
