Anvil! The Story of Anvil(2009)- User Reviews

This documentary, as you probably all know, follows around the band Anvil as they try to become rockstars. At the age of 50. Or so. It's heartbreaking, yet so inspiring, to see them facing obstacle after obstacle and just treating everything with an incredibly strong sense of optimism. As you watch it, you realize their attitude is just, keep going until you succeed, whatever happens. All their friends and family support them with the band, which is great to see. The last half and hour or so is very moving. Plus, the good news is, with the success of the movie, they have now achieved the goal they've been chasing for the past 30 years, which makes it all the more heartwarming.
