How about a bad comedy?

Very disappointed...

I was counting days until the movie release, as this is one of my favorite books, a true masterpiece, but to watch this film was just a pain! To the most of my surprise, it is presented almost like a comedy!

No multi dimensional characters here - as much as i love Kira, she was simply not able to portray even 10% of Anna's struggles, did she even read the book? The inner drama was left quite unfolded, leading to a very premature tragedy.

All the social scenes are simply comic- what a way to diminish all the great work by Tolstoy.

Just Kitty and Levin's storyline was somewhat fine to me, largely due to it positivity to begin with.

Vronsky- what a bad choice of an actor! Zero emotion, zero understanding of the role, in no way was he supposed to be a leading man..

Lastly- did anyone see Lenin's statue next to the Kremlin on the Red Square scenery decorations?!! Lenin and Tosltoy!
Left the theatre sad, simply sad..
