The Phantom of the Opera(2004)- User Reviews

I became a fan of Phantom of the Opera after listening to the original soundtrack with Mr. Michael Crawford and Ms. Brightman. Wanting to see the movie I borrowed it. While a few spots work quite a bit of it doesn't. The biggest thing is the Phantom and the one glaring flaw is Gerard Butler can't sing for a hill of beans. I literally laughed out loud when he attempted Music of the Night cause Michael Crawford simply makes Butler sound like a talentless pathetic goon. Listen to the Original Cast CD. Ignore the movie.
