Two scruffy urban types vent their dissatisfaction with life in general as they go about day to day drudgery in their store front thrift store while plotting a burglary involving a buffalo nickel.
Their hostility reaches a boiling point as one of the men hits a black kid with a heavy black telephone.The last scene has him repenting and driving to the hospital to see a freind with a broken jaw as well as to the emergency room to take bleeding telephone victim.
The many stream of consciousness monologues and dialogues are quick and fast paced and are well suited to the 1975 play that preceeded the movie. Excellent performances.
