Unlike the Chicago and Boston movie critics, I don't blame Amelia Earhardt for this boring, bad movie, or the time period she lived in or the way things looked back then. Those period elements were the only reasons to watch the movie.

Good History refresher and decent movie. Hilary Swank looks like born for this role, a very believable as Amelia Earhart. Nice to see the lifestyle and the fashion for that timeperiod. The cast alone led to my expectation that it would be a decent movie, which it was. Thought it needed to be longer though. Hilary Swank is very believable as Amelia Earhart. Would like to have seen more about here younger years.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I had been looking forward to seeing this movie. The trailers made it look really good. Overall, I'd have to say I was dissapointed.
I expected it to be "pretty good." Overall, I would say it was okay.
