Cameron Crowe directed this film with charcter and great finisse! Kate Hudson should've won the award for best supporting actress. She really carries this film along with Patrick Fugit (who should've deserved at least a golden globe award nomination). Frances McDormand was also very good, but not excellent. The music and the story are very good. Go see this movie you will enjoy it.
