I went into this movie with absolutely no expectations. For most of the movie I thought that it was a mediocre picture at best. But the ending of the movie was so wonderfully set up that I couldn't help but really grin at the macabre cleverness of it. The acting was adequate, and it isn't exactly a horror film per se, but it was elevated above a serviceable slasher by the wonderful and original ending.
