Al Caer La Tarde(1949)

Karma has a way of working its own revenge in AL CAER LA TARDE, a Mexican drama about the struggles of love and class barriers. After years of hard work, a man becomes deservedly wealthy and wants nothing more than a woman with whom to share his newly comfortable life. He expects his love interest--the daughter of a landowner who lost his fortune--to accept his advances as a way to reclaim her upper-class status. When she explains that his offer holds little appeal, her suitor lashes back at her without thinking of the consequences.
