Cherished memories and emotional terroism is whats in store in a movie about a Lebanese woman teacher who seeks out a quiet American family.
Her husband left her years before and married
an American woman,the couple were killed in an auto accident and left behind a son.The boy was placed in the care of the maternal uncle.
The boy, now a teen in the movie,conjures up a story for a class assingment. He romanticises his parents on a plane and part of a terrorist plot ending in an explosive incident,
which stirs the imagination and emotions of his classmates.
The Lebanese woman is the boys teacher and upon reading the teen's essay begins an eerie friendship with the teen and the uncle and discloses her past.
Now all the teen has left of his parents is a violin that his parents made music together to and cherished and now the new Lebanese step-mother.
Its a difficult movie to understand with so many layers of truth and deception but it still does make an impact.
