Across the Universe(2007)- User Reviews

At the end of this film you may need to sit for a moment and understand what it is that you have just finished watching.
the movie has sever mood swings several times making you giggle, scaring you to death, and then making you want to cry.
what made me love it so much aside from the music(If you dont like the beatles you really shouldnt see this movie) was the characters. there is something endearing about them all, flawed as they are.
most of the story is told through song...there is more song then dialogue.
the best part of the movie was how effective it was emotionally. i was sad when i was supposed to be and giggling with glee when it got happy.
i reccomend that people give it a try but here's fair warning:
If you have any problem with drugs on film, dont see this movie. And everyone ought to be warned abbout the song For the Benefit of being Mr. Kite. the number is headache inducing and fueled by LSD with Eddie Izzard flying into your face.
