Across the Universe(2007)- User Reviews

In my mind, this movie was amazing. But Not everyone will like it.
I don't know if I should call it a musical, I am pretty sure not many people will like that, but I can tell you that this movie took me two times to love it.
Just like phantom of the opera and moulin rouge, for me anyway.
I liked the quirkiness the first time, but it kida creeped me out, and I couldn't follow the plot.
Than, I watched it again, and started loving it. It rarely gets cheezy, except for one scene (cringe worthy) where Lucy sings "It won't be long" with her sisters (CHEESILY) accompanying her as she sappily pours out notes...It wasn't good. But other than that one scene, it was a great movie, and I can't get the songs out of my head.
