If you have a sensitive bone in your body to human issues, especially children's, take some tissues to this movie. This is not an uplifting movie, but it is an important one.
It has a good balance of portraying real people (diverse types of folks) and their real struggles, along with the politics of why these people are hungry.
The only thing lacking for me was some kind of call to action at the movie's end. I was left feeling hopeless and helpless. I would have like to have seen a web address or 2 up on the screen for a while, so I, as a voter, can go somewhere to find out how to take action. I think most people who seek these kinds of documentaries are not watching to be entertained; they may want to get involved. Isn't that the ultimate agenda of the film-makers? Help us out!
