All the performances are excellent featuring Jack Nicholson who isnt in the film for that long a time but still was nominated for best supporting oscar role as his performance was so damn good. Tom cruise is once again great as young cocky but naive recent attorney Daniel Kaffee assigned to defend 2 marines accused of murdering a fellow marine in their campus with the help of Lt Anne Galloway[demi moore] and Lt Sam Weinberg[Kevin Pollack] . What ensures of a series of covered up lies from Col Nathan Jessep [Nicholson] and so what begins is a consistently interesting drama in which Daniel and his colleagues have to prove why the marines didnt intend to kill their fellow man in this awesome well handled unmissable film from director Rob Reiner[Misery].
