Synopsis

Ebenezer Scrooge is a profoundly miserly Londoner. Although is he is quite wealthy, he treats his faithful employee, Bob Cratchit like a servant and refuses to donate to any form of charity. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge gets a visit from the ghost of Jacob Marley, his late business partner who was a selfish as Scrooge in life. Now condemned to wander the Earth in chains, Marley has come to help Scrooge escape his fate and tells him that three spirits will visit him before morning to show him Christmases from his past, present, and future. Scrooge is transformed by the visitations and determines to change his ways. In the morning, he greets Christmas as a generous man who lovingly embraces the spirit of the season and vows to keep it in his heart every day of the year.
