When it comes to visuals, 9 is amazing. As soon as I saw the first wrinkly hands of the professor I was impressed with it. I thought it looked incredably realistic. At times, though, those amazing visuals turned really creepy. But, what else would you expect from a Tim Burton film? I think creepy films must be his signiture kind, or something.
The story in this movie is that technology has destroyed all human life (kind of like in The Matrix)and so a scientest makes some rag dolls come to life. The main chacter is the the 9th one that is made (thus the title 9). He acidentaly wakes up a device called simply The Machine. One by one it starts to hunt down the group to make more machines. Can 9 convince the rest of the group to take action against it?

If you haven't seen this movie yet turn your eyes away from the screen! I hated the ending in the movie. How they all just died and stayed dead didn't seem very fair. Esepcially because 2 and 5 were my favorite charcters. Why is it that my favorite charcters always die?
