3,000 Miles to Graceland(2001)- User Reviews

Sure nothing in this film can be taken seriously, but to deny its ability to entertain is to not go into the theater with an open mind. 3000 miles to graceland is an over the top high tech action movie with an A list cast and lots of explosions, one should not expect to see anything other then that, the trailer speeks for itself. I personally had a lot of fun watching this film, Kevin Costner is a fiendishly hilarious bad guy and Kurt Russell is equally effective as another bad guy "but not quite as bad as the other bad guy". The cast offer no real incites into their characters, but they all have a lot of fun and simply allow themselves to get lost in the pulp, which works perfectly well for this type of movie. When all is said and done, 3000 miles to graceland is about style and violence, both of which it has a lot of. There are rich supplies of tough talking dialogue reminiscent of Tarantino and countless others. All one has to do is sit back and enjoy this film for what it is, if you go in expecting something a little more meaningful you will be sorely disappointed.
