I DVRed it off showtime a few days ago. It is broken into a few different mini-movies or stories. The first one was frustrating because it was difficult to follow and in CHINESE! I swore I'd never watch another movie where you have to read captioning since Passion of the Christ. I don't think movie makers think about how much the viewers miss because they are too busy reading along to watch the movie. Sure it sounds more authentic but which is more important, to watch it or to listen to it? With English you get both. The Chinese part was also difficult to follow. I don't understand how people got HIV and died in less than a year. I thought that took several years at least. The second part had a good story but was frustrating because it switched back and forth between French, English, and a mixture of the two. I wonder if they really do that in Quebec. They would say a few words in English, then say a few in French. The third part took place in Africa. It was the same frustration as the Canadian part because it was a mixture of English and some African language. It was also difficult to figure out and follow(although it made much more sense than the Chinese part). The only good thing about it was you got to see a really hot nun naked. That may be sick to some people, but hey, we're both human. Overall I'd give it a two thumbs down. Save your money and get a couple of dollar menu items at McDonalds instead.
