Blockbuster: Buy or Rent Online
Away from every-day-life in Berlin, Edmond (a man in his late sixties), based on the advice of his older friend, Kogi, visits a mysterious mansion, kind of a bordello, specialized for senile customers beyond their 80s. In this establishment it is possible for these old men to spend time in bed with beautiful, sleeping girls. The drugged girls won't awake, and these old guys will feel warm and comfortable embracing the youth and the beauty of these young women. Madame, the managing director of the establishment, takes almost motherly care of the old men as well as the young ladies. More and more Edmond surrenders to this unconscious seduction, juvenile virginity and unpredictable sensuality. Confronting his age and bedazzled by the breath and warmth of the young women, he glides into memories of his past life. Bizarre moments become inspiration and the urge arises to disappear next to a girl into death. Edmond secretly observes as Madame supervises a corpse being packed in a bag, thrown into a car and secretly taken away. Nevertheless, Edmond returns often to the "House of the Sleeping Beauties," considering questions of morality and limits. Madame resists Edmond's interrogation and occasional flirting in a very relaxed way, never answering his questions. It doesn't take long until the dreams of the old man threaten to come to an end.
