Three middle-aged actresses dream of starring in a film, but when nobody will hire them they make their own and enter a film contest. Ignoring the advice of their therapist turned shaman to tell their own stories, Jane, Cindy and Michelle act out their fantasy selves in front of the camera, and watch in horror as their dream becomes a joke in the hands of a former award-winning European director.
