|
Ricardo Tattarelli has been employed for 22 years at a public utility company on its way to being privatized. Encouraged by his boss and blinded by his ambition to join the nouveau riche, Tattarelli accepts voluntary early retirement. A large sum of retirement funds are âadvancedâ to him through bizarrely structured financial schemes created by the government and international banking systems. Ricardo fulfills his life dream of opening a neighborhood pizzeria, but the shaky foundation on which his new-found wealth is based finally catches up with him.
