Based on the life of Harald Edelstam, the Swedish ambassador in 1973 Chile during the junta take-over. He fought to save the lives of thousands of refugees during the Chilean Military coup. Witnessing terrible atrocities and abuses of power, Edelstam struggles for human rights, justice and decency--his actions often leading to threats on his own life.
