This sequel to THE LIBRARIAN: QUEST FOR THE SPEAR finds Flynn Carsen (Wyle) leaving the bowels of the New York Public Library in search of the mythic mines of King Solomon. Oscar-winning actress Olympia Dukakis plays Carsen's concerned mother, with TV veterans Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin reprising their roles from the original film. Gabrielle Anwar plays Carsen's love interest who accompanies him on his quest. Combining action and humor, this film channels the Indiana Jones series and ROMANCING THE STONE. MPAA Rating: Not Rated
