Eight-year-old Kao Niew is sent to live with her aunt and grandmother after her single mother abandons family life to follow a new career path. At the same time, a puppy is abandoned on a highway in Bangkok and has to fend for itself. Before long, our lonely pair meet and forge an instant bond of friendship. Kao Niew names the dog Moo Bing and smuggles it home where she plans to raise it by herself. It is not long before her relatives discover her canine secret and decide that it is time to call in the local dogcatchers and for the puppy to move out.
