|
An eight-year old East Indian boy is sent to Ottawa to live with his uncle due to his mother's illness back home. Unaware that his unwedded mother is dying, he believes that he is on a mission to find a hero, to take back home and save her. The boy connects emotionally witht he captain of the local tour boat who, in turn, begins a romance with the boy's elder cousin.
