As the millenium approaches, Sebastian is anxious to get off the costal Venezuelan highway which is supposed to disappear beneath an impending tidal wave. Stuck in traffic, Sebastian detours into an old town where he meets an abandoned girl and a mysterious artist named Anna who seems to know more than she reveals.
