Thomas was one of Paris's revolutionaries in May '68, but now he, like many of his contemporaries, has joined the establishment. He has a wife, kids and a corporate job, but he can't quite shake the influence of his former comardes. Soon he is seeking out his female ex-friends for a series of adulterous liaisons, and attending funerals for those who have recently died.
