|
A Copenhagen school teacher, Julie, applies for a teaching position on a small island off the coast of Norway. She finds herself an outsider and soon discovers that her predecessor hanged himself and two of his students committed suicide by drowning. Julie befriends an orphan, Solveig, but when Solveig is nearly drowned, Julie begins to suspect that there is a killer loose on the island.
