Joe is a former rocker who's about to marry into money. He's traded in his hard-living, party-hardy and ultimately self-destructive rock 'n' roll persona for that of an upwardly mobile executive with his ruthlessly capitalistic father-in-law-to-be's demolition company. Joe and his fiancee Melissa separeate four days before the wedding in order to lend some extra frisson to the honey-moon. The film kicks into high gear on the night of Joe's stag party when, unbeknownst to anyone, Joe is kidnapped by beautiful performance artist Uta, who is determined to derail his wedding plans. Despite a missing groom, Joe's besieged, self-serving best man continues to juggle the Byzantine wedding preparations, balancing Melissa's growning confusion against his own growing incredulity that Joe will surface from a last badley timed fling in time for his own wedding.
