Verenda (Raj Babbar) is a crusading journalist who sets out to expose the criminal dealings of a shady local businessman, Sethis (Sadashiv Amrapurkar). After the incriminating articles are published, Sethis gets Verenda fired from his job and frames him for murder by planting a dead body in his apartment, forcing the reporter to clear his own name in an epic quest for justice.
