Anil Kapoor stars as Ravi, a young man who seems destined never to amount to anything. He moves with his family to a new town, where he falls for the lovely Kiran (Juhi Chawla). But he's so mercilessly teased by his new neighbors that he decides, unwisely, to prove himself by taking on a sinister gang that's been terrorizing the community. Along with his uncle (Shakti Kapoor), Ravi must fight the criminals and deal with corrupt officials to impress Kiran and find out, once and for all, what he's really made of.
