Director Priyadarshan brings flair and sensationalism to this saga of crime, friendship, and jealousy. In the slums of Mumbai, a rash young criminal, Jaggu (Jackie Schroff), is the right-hand man of drug lord Kachara Seth (Paresh Rawal) and the lover of the beautiful Tina (Pooja Bhatt). While trying desperately to raise money for his mother's medical care, Jaggu is sold out to the police and arrested. Upon getting out of prison, he vows to discover who ratted on him. But things get complicated when he finds that a man named Raja (Anil Kapoor) has replaced him in the lives of both Tina and Kachara. The resulting professional and romantic rivalry, combined with Jaggu's need for vengeance, turns all their lives upside down.
