Luis Llosa's fast-paced thriller stars two popular television personalities. Erik Estrada (CHIPS) is Fiero, a hit man working in the imaginary South American country of San Pedro. A new, liberal president has just been elected, and a small faction of generals wants him out of office at any cost. They trick Fiero into participating in an assassination plot, which CIA agent Sam Merrick (Robert Vaughn, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) gets wind of. As Merrick gets closer and closer to the truth, he enters a dangerous web of political intrigue with mysterious, psychic forces at play, but can he locate the culprits before the crucial hour arrives?
