A Mexican riff on the POLICE ACADEMY series, LOS VERDULEROS 2 finds its comic stars Luis de Alba and Tun-Tun opening a school for cops with comedic results. Although they have the best intentions, most of the new recruits are, frankly, morons. One of the few successful recruits, Roberto, is hired as a private detective by a husband who suspects his wife of adultery. But when she is killed, Roberto must launch a real investigation to discover the murderer, testing the effectiveness of the training he received at the police school. LOS VERDULEROS 2 was directed by the prolific Mexican director Gilberto Martinez Solares.
