Hong Kong actor Tony Leung (HERO, IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE) takes a break from arthouse cinema with the light and fluffy romantic comedy MY LUCKY STAR. The candy-colored romp costars Cantonese pop star Miriam Yeung as the star-crossed lovely Yip, who decides to counter her lifelong string of bad luck with the help of suave and handsome feng shui expert Lai (Leung). It isn't long before Lai traces the girl's misfortunes to a series of evil spells cast by a rival feng shui guru hired by Yip's own stepmother, leading to a cosmic tug-of-war fraught with comedic mishaps--and unexpected romance.
