Prolific Mexican filmmaker Gilberto de Anda, part of a well-known filmmaking family, directs the supernatural comedy UN PASO AL MAS ACA (ONE STEP INTO THE UNKNOWN). Three intertwined stories of horror are played for laughs, all taking place in the same building overlooked by a man ominously nicknamed "Lucifer." In one room, a pair of newlyweds struggle to hide their dead plumber from a nosy relative. In another, two men meet a pair of beautiful women and agree to join them for a private party in their room, unaware that the same two women disappeared mysteriously many years ago. Finally, a third room is home to an actor with a strange habit, drinking human blood. What could be the cause of all the macabre happenings in this one apartment building?
